Merritt Black
Merritt Black has been actively trading for 15 years. Most recently as the Head of Futures & Commodities for SMB Capital, a proprietary trading firm based in New York City founded by Mike Bellafiore and Steve Spencer.
During his time leading SMB Futures and developing traders, his passion for trading and educating grew even deeper. Merritt is most inspired when he’s trading or talking with an eager, hard-working student. Apteros Trading is a direct result of those two passions.
Merritt now resides in Nashville, and channels his desire to perform and improve himself through trading, playing music, triathlon, golf, oil painting, hunting, tennis, and chess, among others. Learn more about him and from him in some of the press below.
